Itineraries

Day 1

Arrival At Cairo International Airport

Welcome to the mystical lands of Egypt, where the Pharaohs ruled for thousands of years. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, your tour manager will meet and assist you and ease the process by providing an entry visa. your tour manager will assist you with your check-in and double-check your itinerary to establish and confirm all the pick-up times for all your activities during your trip.
The rest of the day is your relaxing time after the flight trip. Alternatively, you can choose one of our carefully planned optional tours.

Day 2

Pyramids and Cairo Sightseeing

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at your hotel, your guide will take you to the Giza Plateau to start your journey by marveling at one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Great Pyramids of Giza.
Walk or take a camel over to the iconic Sphinx and Valley Temple. After your pyramids visit, you’ll eat at an authentic Egyptian restaurant and head to the Egyptian Museum in the heart of historic Downtown Cairo, overlooking the infamous Tahrir Square.
After relishing the magnificent ancient Egyptian artifacts and treasures, you will be driven through Old Cairo to the historic Islamic Cairo area, where you will explore the vibrant, meandering, treasure-filled alleys of Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s oldest bazaar.

Day 3

Tour to Alexandria from Cairo by Car

After breakfast, our tour guide will meet you after breakfast at the hotel lobby to begin your journey toward Alexandria. First, visit Pompey’s Pillar, which was constructed in honor of Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century. Originally from the temple of the Serapis, it was once a magnificent structure rivaling the Soma and the Cesarean. Then drive to visit the Catacombs, the largest Roman Cemetery of three levels cut in the rock.
Lunch at a local restaurant in Alexandria, then proceed to see the Qaitbay Citadel, built on the site of the ancient pharaohs (lighthouse) of Alexandria, then to Bibliotheca Alexandria. Finally, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo.

Day 4

Fly to Luxor - East Bank Sightseeing

Today, you will leave Cairo and head out to the shining city of Luxor. You will meet your tour manager early in the morning at your hotel, where he will accompany you to Cairo International Airport for your trip to Luxor.
Upon landing in Luxor, you will be assisted and whisked away in an exclusive air-conditioned vehicle to board your luxurious Nile cruise, which will offer you a unique experience cruising on the Nile with high-quality service, gastronomy, and accommodation during your stay.
Enjoy a delicious lunch on board before heading out to your first stop in Upper Egypt, which includes visiting the infamous Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple at the East Bank. Return to your cruise and enjoy a warm and hand-crafted dinner.

Day 5

West Bank Sightseeing

Enjoy your first breakfast on your board cruise, surrounded by the calm waters of the Nile. After breakfast, explore Luxor’s West Bank. Tour the Royal Cemetery of 62 Pharaohs, the Valley of the Kings, and the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El-Bahari, which the architects of the New Kingdom built during the 15th century BCE. As you conclude your day, admire Memnon’s magnificent Colossi.
Enjoy a delicious lunch on board as you sail to Edfu after finishing your visit to the West Bank. The rest of your day can be spent relaxing; take advantage of the fantastic facilities on board, enjoy afternoon tea, get a massage, and relax in the Jacuzzi. The day ends with a delicious dinner.

Day 6

Edfu and Kom Ombo

Enjoy a mouth-watering breakfast on board your cruise as you sail to Edfu. Upon arrival, head out and visit Edfu Temple, one of the best-preserved temples of the Greco-Roman era, that of Horus at Edfu. Enjoy a magnificent experience as you take a horse-drawn carriage ride back and forth to the temple and marvel at Upper Egypt’s local life. Pass through the slow-paced, rural life of the local farmers and fishermen. Immerse yourself in the breathtaking lush, fertile landscapes dotted with banana and date palm trees.

After your visit, return to your cruise and start sailing to your second-day stop, Kom Ombo. Touch down on the shores of Kom Ombo and walk through the town of Kom Ombo among the locals until you arrive at the unusual Kom Ombo temple with its two identical entrances, hypostyle halls, and sanctuaries. After your visit, return to your cruise, where you will enjoy a delicious lunch while sailing to Aswan. As the day ends, enjoy a warm, delicious dinner surrounded by the calm, serene water of the Nile River.

Day 7

Aswan Sightseeing

Enjoy yet another delicious breakfast on board as you sail to the colorful city of Aswan. Upon arrival, head out and enjoy a day of sightseeing in this beautiful city, meeting the kindest locals. Start with visiting the infamous High Dam and then head to the massive Unfinished Obelisk, still resting in the stone quarries of ancient Egypt. Afterward, you will go to the beautiful Temple of Philae, devoted to the two goddesses, Isis and Hathor. After your visits, you will return to your cruise and enjoy an appetizing dinner in the middle of the Nile, surrounded by its beautiful waters.

Day 8

Enjoy your last morning on your cruise with one last scrumptious breakfast on board, surrounded by the calm waters of the Nile. After breakfast, disembark your cruise and transfer to Aswan Airport to catch your flight back to Cairo International Airport for your final departure back to your homeland.

Yes. U.S. citizens must obtain a tourist visa before or upon arrival in Egypt. Visas can be acquired at the airport, online (e-Visa), or through Egyptian consulates. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry.

The ideal time is October to April, when temperatures are cooler and more comfortable for sightseeing. Summers can be extremely hot, especially in Luxor, Aswan, and desert areas.

The official currency is the Egyptian Pound (EGP). U.S. dollars are not commonly accepted for purchases, so it’s recommended to exchange money at banks or use ATMs. Credit cards are widely accepted in hotels, restaurants, and larger shops.

Egypt is generally safe for travelers, including Americans. Petty crime can occur in crowded tourist areas, so stay vigilant and take standard travel precautions. Avoid restricted areas and follow local guidance.
