Day 2

A Full-Day Tour to World's 3 Great Pyramids & Memphis City

Meet the tour guide in the lobby when you finish breakfast at the hotel. Today we will visit the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus on the Plateau of the World’s 3 Great Pyramids. It will begin with a visit to the Great Sphinx, which resembles a lion and its head, dating from Chephren’s rule. The tour will also include visiting the Valley Temple, which used to belong to the Chephren Pyramid. Before having lunch, we will visit the Papyrus Institute to browse the lovely gifts of papyrus for gifts. We will have lunch at a local restaurant before proceeding to the Step Pyramids of Zoser.
A short drive will take us to the Step Pyramids of Zoser, the World’s oldest central stone structure, built by King Djoser during the third dynasty (around 2630 BC). With a much simpler design, it differs significantly from the later Pyramids of Giza. Our tour concludes with a visit to Memphis, Egypt’s ancient and first capital. It is a fascinating historical landmark as the center of the union of Upper and Lower Egypt; it can be considered an open-air museum with a fascinating history.
Dinner at the local restaurant is on the agenda before returning to the hotel.

Day 3

A Full-Day Tour to Cairo City

After breakfast, you will meet your tour guide, who will take you to the famous and massive Egyptian museum. This museum contains thousands of artifacts from the Pharaonic period and has the world’s largest and most precious Egyptian art collection, which spans 5000 years. It is home to over 250,000 authentic artifacts, including the stunning gold mask of Tutankhamun, which was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before being discovered in the 1920s when his tomb was excavated, as well as an exhibit dedicated to the treasure, gold, and jewelry of Tutankhamun.
We will have lunch at a local restaurant before visiting Salah El-Din Citadel. Salah al-Din, the founder of the Ayyubid system, built the best monument of medieval fighting. After walking to the Mohammed Ali Mosque-Alabaster Mosque, the crown of the Salah El-Din Citadel, you will discover the origins of the Islamic movement. At the request of the Egyptian leader Mohamed Ali Pasha (1805-1849), the designer Yousef Bushnak built the mosque between 1830 and 1848. Today’s tour’s last stop is the traditional Khan El Khalil Bazaar in Islamic Cairo for a fantastic shopping experience. In Cairo’s old bazaar, founded in the 14th century, you can find handcrafted souvenirs and gifts for family and friends.
Before returning to the hotel, we will dine at a local restaurant.
